Your Sarcoma and Bone Cancer Care Team

Levine Cancer's sarcoma team consists of fellowship-trained physicians in orthopedic oncology, surgical oncology, medical oncology and sarcoma pathology.

Each week, our oncologists meet with radiologists, surgeons, pathologists and rehabilitation specialists to discuss your case and determine the most effective treatment plan tailored to your needs. The result: high-quality care from evaluation to treatment to recovery.

Advanced Sarcoma and Bone Cancer Treatment

Your sarcoma treatment options include:

  • Surgery to remove your cancer while maintaining healthy tissue and vital function of your affected limb or organ
  • Radiation therapy to shrink your tumor before surgery and reduce the risk of your cancer coming back after surgery
  • Chemotherapy to shrink or kill your cancer with powerful medications that may be given in pill form or through an IV tube

Saving Your Limbs

If you have a life-threatening tumor, our goal is to remove it while saving your limb and avoiding an amputation. Our team has deep experience in a variety of limb salvage techniques, and we always consider saving your limb as the first option.

Clinical Trials for Sarcoma and Bone Cancer

In addition to offering state-of-the-art treatment options, our physicians also conduct clinical trials to give you access to the newest and most promising sarcoma and bone cancer treatments.
