About Dr. Wozniak: Dr. Wozniak joined Atrium Health Cabarrus in June 2017 and became the emergency medicine team lead in 2020. He works as a clinical pharmacist in the emergency department and is the program director for the emergency medicine PGY2 residency program. His professional interests include resuscitation, infectious diseases and precepting. Dr. Wozniak is an active member of several hospital committees including the residency advisory committee, resuscitation committee, stroke advisory committee and trauma council.

About Dr. Bostian: Dr. Bostian originally joined Atrium Health in 2008 as a pharmacy technician. In 2018, he re-joined with his current role at Atrium Health Cabarrus as an emergency medicine clinical staff pharmacist. He is an active member on Atrium Health’s trauma, integrative medicine, and wellness councils. Dr. Bostian’s clinical interests include trauma, critical care, and infectious diseases.

About Dr. Wang: Dr. Wang happily joined Atrium Health Cabarrus in 2017 and transitioned on to the emergency medicine team in 2019. She also periodically staffs in various clinical roles throughout the hospital. She enjoys working in all aspects of emergency medicine and takes a particular interest in diabetic ketoacidosis, cardiac resuscitation, and prehospital and transitions of care. Outside of the hospital she is a wannabe aerialist.

About Dr. Yang: Dr. Yang served as an Emergency Medicine clinical pharmacist at Novant Health Huntersville for one year after her residency, then she returned to Atrium Health Cabarrus in 2023 to impart specialized knowledge to pharmacy students and residents. Her particular interests lie in neurology and trauma.

About Dr. Dulaney: Dr. Dulaney is a board-certified Clinical Toxicologist with the Division of Medical Toxicology in the Department of Emergency Medicine. She is an Adjunct Professor at the UNC Eshelman School of Pharmacy and a Clinical Associate Professor with Wingate University School of Pharmacy. She is the Associate Program Director of the Medical Toxicology Fellowship at Carolinas Medical Center and is a Fellow of the American Academy of Clinical Toxicology. She reviews for six Toxicology/Emergency Medicine Journals and is on the Fatality Review Committee of the American Association of Poison Control Centers. Her interests are in psychiatric drug toxicity, novel substances of abuse, and pediatric toxicology.

About Dr. Everhart: Dr. Everhart joined Atrium Health in 2001 and became the critical care clinical team leader in 2003. Along with Dr. Kosmisky, she helped develop Atrium Health’s Virtual Critical Care Pharmacy program in 2015. Dr. Everhart is an active member of SCCM, ASHP, and ACCP as well as the Carolinas/Virginias Chapter of SCCM. Her clinical interests include sepsis, infectious diseases, and tele-health.

About Dr. Ford: Dr. Ford joined Atrium Health in 2014 as a resident. He stayed on after residency as a clinical staff pharmacist before transitioning to his current role with the Antimicrobial Support Network in 2017. His clinical interests include precepting, prevention of antimicrobial resistance, and helping to develop new antimicrobial stewardship initiatives across the Atrium Health enterprise.

About Dr. Kosmisky: Dr. Kosmisky joined Atrium Health Cabarrus and the Virtual Critical Care Team in 2015. She participates in the Atrium Health Cabarrus Resuscitation and Critical Care Committees and the Division of Pharmacy Research and Quality Improvement and Critical Care Steering Committees. She is an active member of ACCP, SCCM, and the Carolinas/Virginias Chapter of SCCM. Her clinical interests include medication safety, quality improvement, precepting, ICU liberation, and expanding tele-critical care pharmacy services.

About Dr. Nagy: Dr. Nagy joined Atrium Health in 2008 as a staff pharmacist at Carolinas Medical Center. In 2014, she transitioned into her role as a clinical coordinator for psychiatry. During the COVID-19 pandemic, Dr. Nagy took an active role in addressing pharmacist mental health and burnout within Atrium Health. She also champions the Resident Wellness Program with her colleague, Dr. Stephanie Greenwood. Dr. Nagy enjoys teaching and is an active faculty member at several psychiatric residency programs as well as the APP Fellowship Program here at Atrium Health.

About Dr. Poplin: Dr. Poplin joined Atrium Health in 2013 as a PGY1 resident at Carolinas Medical Center. He stayed on following residency by working in various intensive care roles. He later transitioned to our team here at Atrium Health Cabarrus in 2015 where he currently works as a decentralized clinical staff pharmacist in various cardiology and intensive care areas throughout the hospital. His clinical interests include myocardial infarction, heart failure, intensive care medicine, and precepting.

About Dr. Ray: Dr. Ray joined Atrium Health in 2012 as a clinical staff pharmacist. In 2013, he transitioned to infectious diseases with the launch of Atrium Health’s Antimicrobial Support Network (ASN). Dr. Ray also precepts PGY1 residents and fourth year pharmacy students from Wingate University and High Point University.

About Dr. Szymanski: Dr. Szymanski joined Atrium Health in 1997 and served as a clinical specialist in internal medicine at Atrium Health Cabarrus. In 2005, she transitioned into her current role as clinical pharmacy manager. Dr. Szymanski began the PGY1 pharmacy residency program here at Atrium Health Cabarrus in 1998 and currently serves as the residency program director. She is an active member of NCAP, ASHP, and the High Point Pharmacy Preceptor Advisory Board. She also serves on numerous committees and advisory teams here at Atrium Health. Her clinical interests include the expansion of pharmacy clinical services and medication safety.

About Dr. Waggy: Dr. Waggy joined the Emergency Department at Atrium Health Cabarrus in 2017. She currently serves as Cabarrus County EMS Medical Director and Medical Director over prehospital education at Rowan Cabarrus Community College. Dr. Waggy is an active member of ACEP, NCCEP, and NAEMSP with a special interest in prehospital care, trauma, and disaster medicine.
